EXPLORATION BOOKS
Print Design
Objective: Create a series of books for the gift shop at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
Audience: Museum-goers with a quirky sense of humor.
Solution: These books demonstrate the value of taking different perspectives by following a band of friendly aliens as they journey to Earth and discover new uses for ordinary objects. The first book explains the practical uses of several everyday objects, the second describes the far-off world of Planet X and its curious alien inhabitants, and the third follows the aliens’ journey to Earth and their discovery of many strange artifacts.

Tradition, Exploration, Discovery

"The purpose of everyday objects seems clear to those who deal with them on a regular basis, but not so for those who have never encountered them before.”"
